Flavorpill LA – FEATURED -”Caught in Red Tape”
What do LA’s hottest, most talented — and unemployed — actresses do in their spare time? Many moan endlessly about audition woes, casting couch clichés, and Hollywood horror stories that ring all too true. But while the all-female comedy troupe Tomboys in Fishnets may groan, their angst-channeling-art takes aim at social ailments and bulging corporate power rather than their agents. Created and directed by Edie Magoun, Caught In Red Tape has the Tomboys putting their money where their particularly loud mouths are. Expect another clever, raunchy performance piece that puts the “blue” back into blue state angst. (JH)
