Nicola Singer

Nicola Singer grew up in Hazleton, PA – a working class town known for coal mining (and Jack Palance). After graduating college, Nicola gravitated to New York City’s East Village. While in NYC, she took many classes in comedy &acting (UCB, Atlantic Theatre Company, HB Studios, etc.) & was also a member of the Actors Playground theater, as well as G.C.F.I.C. sketch comedy troupe. Nicola recently moved to Los Angeles, but tries to maintain a “bicoastal as possible” attitude and lifestyle. When not acting, Nicola manages her favorite garage rock band, The Woggles, and is President of the independent record label, 00:02:59 Most recent accomplishment? Nicola was in a Bob Dylan music video alongside Harry Dean Stanton.

Edie met Nicola last fall at one of  Tubefilter’s Web TV Meetups. Though they talked for just a few minutes Nicola made an impression on Edie and 2 months later Edie called her for a last minute video shoot for Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest.  Nicola came prepared… nailed each take and was a joy to work with.   Thanks Nicola!
